Gunyatoo Trout Lodge is a spacious country retreat near Sabie, ideal for families, friends and groups looking for comfort, privacy and time together in the Rhenosterhoek Valley.

The Lodge sleeps up to 10 guests, with three ensuite bedrooms plus a family unit made up of two interleading bedrooms sharing one bathroom.

Downstairs, the large farmhouse kitchen and solid wood dining room create a warm and relaxed space for shared meals, while outdoor seating and dining areas open onto peaceful gardens and rolling lawns.

Upstairs, a huge mezzanine offers two lounges, a billiard table, bar, darts, chess and DSTV. The balcony has sweeping valley views, outdoor dining and a large braai (BBQ) area.

Guests can enjoy the swimming pool, trout fishing, birding, walking and cycling, or simply slow down and enjoy the space.

In winter, roaring fireplaces upstairs and downstairs create a cosy country atmosphere.

The Lodge is fully self catering and serviced daily. Premade meals, braai packs and picnic baskets can also be arranged with 48 hours notice.
