The Lodge
The Lodge offers luxurious, yet affordable accommodation. We have several luxurious suites with beautiful views of the surrounding pine forests. All suites have a private patio for “feet up” early morning cuppas or late afternoon relaxation with an ice cold something!
The Lodge offers three options in terms of meals, suiting all visitors to the region.
Dinner, Bed and Beakfast (DBB): Rate includes a delectable, freshly prepared, Dinner and a hearty Full English Breakfast.
Self-catering rate (S/C): Guests have full use of Kitchen and Braai Area.
Bed and Breakfast (BandB): Rate includes a hearty Full English Breakfast
The suites are serviced daily giving you a total break to focus on the enjoyable activities at Gunyatoo.
The Lodge can be booked out exclusively for up to 10 guests and can be self-catering or meals can be catered for your group.

Children 5 – 10 years pay 50% of the sharing rate

Relax at this unique and tranquil “hideaway” Cabin. You will fall asleep to the sound of the bubbling stream and wake to the cry of Fish Eagles. Queen Bed with a Sleeper couch upstairs on Mezzanine level (Cannot see but can hear!)

Eco Star Gazers Cottage
Something a little different , often referred to as “Camping in Royal Style” This rustic Stone cottage is off the grid . It has solar lights but no plugs. Reconnect with nature and enjoy a hot bath under the stars.!
This Cottage is open-plan, King bed (or 2 Singles) and 2 singles upstairs – mezzanine floor, (Cannot see but can hear!!!) Downstairs it has a Sleeper couch (King bed or 2 Singles) Fully equipped Kitchenette. Linens provided. Gas fridge & stove. Shower – All Hot Water supplied by Donkey Boiler. Braai areas – both indoors & outdoor. Serviced once daily.
NB – Electronics ie Cell phones, Tablets Torches Lamps etc may be recharged at the Lodge

Gatekeeper's Cottage
This fully equipped Cottage is the original “Waenhuis” Semi A Frame, open-plan with a Queen bed downstairs & 2 Single Beds upstairs – Mezzanine floor (Cannot see but can hear!) Shower only. Linens & bathroom amenities supplied.
This Cottage has fully equipped kitchenette, comfortable sitting area with a Jetmaster fireplace. Undercover Braai area. Serviced once Daily
