Named for the paradise flycatcher that threads through the pine forests around the lodge, the Fly Catcher is one of the most versatile rooms at Gunyatoo.
Twin beds and French doors leading onto a private balcony make it a comfortable standalone twin room for two guests. An en-suite bathroom with bath and hand shower, daily servicing, and all the warmth of the main lodge round out a genuinely good room at a genuinely good rate.
What makes the Fly Catcher particularly useful is the interleading door that connects directly to the King suite. Open that door and you have a full family configuration: two adults in the king room, children in the twin room, a shared bathroom, and two private balconies. It is the most flexible arrangement in the lodge.
Rates include five-course dinner and full English breakfast daily. Two-course and self-catering options available on request. Maximum occupancy: two adults. Children 0 to 3 stay free, children 5 to 10 at 50 percent of sharing rate.
